China’s 3rd plenum garnered plenty of attention overseas. Let’s get Africa’s perspective on this key policy meeting. Dr. Martyn Davies, CEO of Frontier Advisory, an emerging markets research and consultancy joins us from Johannesburg, South Africa.

Q1. China’s top decision makers issuing a series of reform guidelines after the closing of the 3rd plenum. Give us a sense of how policy makers, the media and scholars in Africa are interpreting these new reform guidelines and what stood out to you?
